Success Story

Acting President of King Khalid University starting from March 2024 and Vice President for Educational Affairs from May 2017 to date. His Excellency has held many academic and administrative positions at the university, including Acting Vice President for Graduate Studies and Scientific Research, Dean of Admissions and Registration at King Khalid University, Vice Dean of Admissions and Registration at King Khalid University, Vice President for Girls' Colleges at King Khalid University, Head of the Biology Department, College of Science, King Khalid University.

Member of the Saudi Shura Council since Rabi' al-Awwal 1442 AH. He is a member of the Education and Scientific Research Committee in the same council. He held several positions, namely: Vice-Rector of King Khalid University for Graduate Studies and Scientific Research from Safar 1439 AH until Rabi' al-Awwal 1442 AH, and before that, General Supervisor of the Scholarship Administration. 

He had a prominent role in the establishment of the Saudi Society for Physical Sciences, and his participation was evident in the first meeting of the physics society ‏One of the administrative contributions of Dr. Abdulaziz is to participate in supervising the international competition for the design of the university city in the two branches, and the membership of the committees that assumed that distinguished achievement. He also supervised and managed the stage of the designs of the university city, and then managed the university city project in the branches from its initial critical stages to 80% of the project.

Professor Ahmed Tahir Mubarak worked as a chairman or an effective member in many scientific committees and councils in and out of the university, in addition to his membership in many Saudi and foreign chemical societies. He has many scientific papers published in distinguished scientific publishing journals (ISI) with a high impact factor, whose contents are cited by a large number of researchers around the world. He has also reviewed a great number of chemical research and books to be published in specialized international scientific journals, as well as edited a book on the chemistry of lanthanides. He also has participated in workshops and conferences inside the Kingdom and abroad.

Director of the Prince Sultan bin Abdulaziz Center for Environmental and Tourism Research and Studies at King Khalid University, part-time consultant at the Center for Vegetation Coverage Development and Desertification Control.

Member of the Board of Directors of the National Development Association in Abha and the financial officer of the association for the current session. She has membership in many women's associations in the region. An accredited member of the National Center for E-learning and Distance Education. A professional trainer at the Teacher Academy for Training and Consultation. Member of the GOOSTA International Office of Senior Trainers Academy. A trainer in the field of self-development, time management, creative thinking, promotion of academic values and skills, and academic advising. She has provided a large number of courses in this field inside and outside the university. Obtained the Excellence Award for e-learning allocated to the national program for open educational content for faculty members, a branch produced for the year 1439 AH. Won the third place for the King Khalid University Award for Excellence; Excellence in scientific research branch of the faculty member for scientific disciplines for the year 1443 AH.
