Tasks of Unit of Research and Postgraduate Studies:

Preparing the postgraduate studies plan for the college in coordination with the scientific departments; To achieve specific objectives of theses.
Supervising the establishment and development of postgraduate programs, reviewing and evaluating them.
Supervising the activities of the induction program for postgraduate students at the college and following up on its implementation.
Receiving the applications of applicants to the Deanship of Postgraduate Studies and distributing them to the various scientific departments in the college, supervising the selection and examinations of applicants for postgraduate studies, and following up the admission procedures with the scientific departments and the Deanship of Postgraduate Studies.
Receiving the recommendations of the scientific departments regarding postgraduate students, and sending them to the Deanship of Postgraduate Studies after being approved by the College Council.
Supervising the academic operations of postgraduate students in the college in accordance with the bylaws, regulations and decisions issued in this regard in cooperation with program coordinators in the scientific departments of the college.
Coordinating with scientific departments to follow up periodic reports submitted by academic advisors and supervisors of theses.
Monitoring the difficulties and obstacles faced by the agency in everything related to postgraduate studies, proposing solutions and working to overcome them.
Achieving everything related to the strategic plan related to postgraduate studies and scientific research in the college.
Coordination with scientific societies and research centers, if any, to enhance the role of the college in scientific research.
Developing a mechanism for advisory studies in the field of scientific research for the college, taking into account the regulations and rules approved by the university.
Measuring the performance indicators of the college in the field of postgraduate studies and scientific research.
Work on adapting the fields of scientific research within the college in order to serve the community.
Opening channels with the relevant research authorities outside the university in coordination with the Deanship of Scientific Research.
Introducing international and regional accredited scientific journals for publication through introductory courses in cooperation with the Deanship of Scientific Research.
Preparing reports and forms for postgraduate programs and scientific research at the college.
