Enhancing collaboration between King Khalid University, represented by the College of Science, and King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST)

A delegation from King Khalid University, represented by the College of Science, visited King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST) on February 10 to discuss enhancing academic collaboration and the possibility of launching a joint program in mathematics under a (3+1+1) system.

During the visit, both sides discussed the alignment of curricula and academic programs, as well as mechanisms for preparing students for admission into graduate studies, in a way that contributes to improving higher education outcomes and supporting scientific research.

Students of the Department of Chemistry participated in the event “Beneficial Knowledge… a Lasting Impact”, organized by the Science College Club in cooperation with the Deanship (Vice Agency) of Student Affairs for Student Activities. As part of the event, visits were conducted to the department’s laboratories and facilities under the supervision of the department representatives, Dr. Umair Saleh Al-Qahtani and Dr. Mustafa Abdulilah.
