Prof. Dr. Saad bin Mohammed bin Daajem

Acting President of King Khalid University starting from March 2024 and Vice President for Educational Affairs from May 2017 to date. His Excellency has held many academic and administrative positions at the university, including Acting Vice President for Graduate Studies and Scientific Research, Dean of Admissions and Registration at King Khalid University, Vice Dean of Admissions and Registration at King Khalid University, Vice President for Girls' Colleges at King Khalid University, Head of the Biology Department, College of Science, King Khalid University.

 His Excellency obtained his PhD from the University of Edinburgh in the United Kingdom and was appointed to the rank of Assistant Professor in the Biology Department, College of Science, King Khalid University in 2006, then promoted to the rank of Associate Professor in 2010, then promoted to the rank of Professor in 2015. He specializes in parasitic immunology and molecular biology in the field of diagnosing endemic parasitic diseases in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia as well as in the field of vaccines against some parasitic diseases. 

His Excellency has many scientific researches and new genetic discoveries in these fields, and he has participated in many internal and external scientific conferences in the field of specialization. His Excellency has participated in many subcommittees working in the university (student affairs, schedules, electronic transactions, quality and development, faculty affairs, and community service). 

His Excellency has also participated in the membership of many scientific societies such as the Saudi Society for Life Sciences, the British Society of Parasitologists, the Saudi Society for Medical Microbiology and Infectious Diseases, and the Saudi Society for Biotechnology.
