The proposed research group (Nuclear Physics Group) is interested, in general, in nuclear physics area of research. In particular, the research work of the group is directly devoted to perform theoretical analysis of direct nuclear reactions at low, intermediate and high bombarding energies as well as interpretation of exotic hadrons.

project name : Interpretation of exotic hadrons
Summary : The spectrum of strongly interacting particles (hadrons) is very rich and is not completely understood. Many of the recently experimentally observed hadronic particles (exotics) cannot be accommodated in the traditional scheme of classification into baryons and mesons. Some of the proposed interpretations are meson molecules, tetraquarks, and hybrids. These exotics need interpretation and my help us better understand hadrons.

project name : Study of Nuclear Rainbow in the Elastic and Inelastic Scattering of Heavy Ion at High Energies
Summary : The aim of this proposal is to study and analysis the elastic and inelastic scattering angular distribution data of 16O by different heavy ion (HI) nuclei at high energies in terms of optical model scattering theory. The microscopic real parts of the complex nuclear optical potential will obtain by using different versions of effective interactions: the squared phenomenological Wood-Saxon (WS2), the original M3Y NN (Michigan 3 Yakawa) realistic interaction and the effective α-α cluster interaction. Then, to study the effect of coupling the inelastic channels to the elastic one.

project name : Scattering and Reactions of Some Neutrons Halo Nuclei
Summary : This work is devoted to study the effective density distributions of the 6He nucleus, which is quite different from those for stable nucleus,4He, and characterized by a halo tail. Then, the optical potentials of this halo nucleus on different targets in the framework of the DF procedure with the M3Y effective interaction is employed to analyze experimental data for the elastic scattering cross sections and angular distributions of this nucleus from different targets.
