A specialized, distinctive program: "A Safe Environment, a Sustainable Future"...
The Science Club at King Khalid University’s College of Science organized a program titled “A Safe Environment, a Sustainable Future: Safety and First Aid” on Tuesday, February 24, 2026, as part of the “Ajaweed 4” initiative. Held in collaboration with the College’s academic departments, the Vice Deanship of Student Affairs for Student Activities, and the University’s Occupational Safety and Health Department, the program attracted approximately 60 students.
The program featured awareness sessions and practical activities covering occupational safety, risks in laboratories and university facilities, preventive measures, first aid fundamentals, and emergency response.
Students from the College’s departments contributed content addressing risks specific to their disciplines, while the Occupational Safety and Health Department provided specialized guidance and practical training. These activities helped strengthen a culture of prevention and enhance preparedness for a safe and sustainable university environment.
