The Thara Club at the College of Science - Female Section, in cooperation with the Activities Committee and the Deanship of Student Affairs for female students, held a program entitled "Sport is Health" with the participation of the Physics Department, on Monday 10/25/1444 AH, in the outdoor arena at 10 a.m. .

The recreational hall at the College of Sciences (B14-G-115) was inaugurated in the presence of His Excellency the Dean of the College of Sciences, as well as vice-deans, heads of departments, and the activities leader for the Science Club. During which the Dean of the College delivered his speech. He praised the importance of cultural and sports activities in student life and the keenness of the college and university to support and provide such facilities.

The Department of Mathematics concluded the activities of the sixth scientific and cultural day on Wednesday, Shawwal 20, in the presence of His Excellency the Dean of the College of Science, and with the participation of 11 speakers (9 from King Khalid University and 2 from KAUST University) who shed light on various aspects of mathematics and statistics.

Under the supervision and presence of Dr. Mohammed Obaid Salem Al-Shahrani, Head of the Biology Department, and a number of faculty members, female graduate students, and members of the teaching staff, on Wednesday, the 20th of Shawwal, 1444 Hijri, the Master's thesis of student Aisha Galib Yahya Al-Sulami was discussed. The thesis is titled "Biosynthesis and Characterization of L-Methioninase from Marine Bacteria Isolated from the Red Sea and Its Anticancer efficacy " under the supervision of  Professor Dr. Suleiman Abdullah Al-Ramman and Dr. Yasser Sabry Mostafa.

Under the supervision of the Head of Biology Department, Dr. Mohammed Obeid Salem Al-Shahrani, and in the presence of male and female faculty members and postgraduate students, the master’s thesis of the student/ Hajar Abdulrahman Ahmad Alrezqi was discussed on Tuesday, 19/11/1444 H, the title of the thesis was:
Biological Studies on Helminth Parasites Infecting Some Economically Important Animals in Abha City, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia
