MSc in Chemistry Program Learning Outcomes


1. To state advanced and specialized levels of understanding the theories and principles of inorganic, organic, physical and analytical chemistry.


2. To describe advanced levels of understanding of chemical behaviors and chemical analysis of elements and compounds applied in laboratory, industry and nature.


3. To recognize experimental and research findings in chemistry and their applications in life.


4. To outline the principles and ethics of research methods in chemistry.


5. To apply advanced and specialized levels of the theories and principles of inorganic, organic, physical and analytical chemistry in solving complex problems to improve human life.


6. To design and carry out experiments in laboratory and demonstrate technical reports.


7. To interpret chemical experimental results and phenomena in laboratory, industry, and nature related to chemistry.


8. To utilize qualitative and quantitative methods for chemical data treatment having a computational thinking and ability to translate vast data into abstract concepts with understanding database reasoning.


9. To demonstrate appropriate methods for publishing related knowledge, skills and research findings in chemistry and related disciplines for the general public and professionals.


10. To show a commitment to integrity, professional, and academic ethical practices in chemistry, besides participation in finding constructive solutions to societal issues and a commitment to responsible citizenship.
