This project will investigate the possibilities to synthesis cellulose derivatives and its composites with metal oxides to be used as a potential environmentally-friendly replacement for the aluminum used today.

Production of multifunctional cotton fabric based on Graphene oxide/sliver oxide nanoparticles for medical applications

الملخص

With the highest request for biopolymers in the industrial market and simultaneous effort to address the blend of natural fibers with polymer industry. Improving the physicochemical characters of cellulose fibre in presence of graphite oxide and/or silver oxide will improve the usage of textiles to have new applications.

The aim of this proposal is to produce high quality nano-composites with different structures as: Fiber/graphene oxide, Fiber/Hap and Fiber/HAP/graphene oxide as a new design antimicrobial textile.
