The main stream research conducted by the group focuses on improving the physical characterization of natural polymers (as cellulose, starch, and extra) via several organic and/or inorganic additives to have necessity composites. Nowadays, using conventional and unconventional fabrication techniques in improving the properties of natural polymers are important due to the environmental impact. The behavior of the composites that will be used will be evaluated through their crystal structure, morphological, thermal and mechanical characterizations. Furthermore, the research work conducted by the group is distributed through peer-reviewed publications. Further, the group also has projects and research collaborations with other academic and industrial partners in Saudi Arabia. The final seek of the research work is to provide development for real life applications.
